Worry for peace?


The opposite of stress/depression/anxiety is peace/calm, then logically whatever leads to stress and anxiety has to be released to be in a state of peace. We cannot wish peace to come while being in the energy of worry and anxiety. ‘Worrying about worrying’ is also aggravated worry; it cannot release stress and bring in change within. Thinking about our insecurities and self-image, about people’s approval, about future, about fear of uncertainty, not being able to control our surroundings only increases our stress levels. A major shift in our thinking process is required in our state of being. This involves acceptance, letting go of circumstances beyond our control, shifting from any kind of negative thoughts and emotions to positive. The ‘feel good’ state is not only important but the only way to bring in the energy of peace and calm within. Meditation, prayers and acts of kindness bring in stillness and allow more positive energy to flow in by neutralizing the effects of worry.
